Otherwise the WTO can not protect the trade conflict of the ECFA emerged on Taiwan, and cannot appeal to WTO to arbitrate the authority of the trade conflict. The economic minister Shih Yen-Shiang (施顏祥) on December 27 said, presently the ECFA treatment will focus on Economic Cooperation, after the related measures to complete, the English edition of ECFA will notify the WTO. And according to past experience, it will be time-consuming to send more than one year. But the Ministry of Economic Affairs express "I hope the sooner the better."

The DPP (Democratic Progressive Party) legislator Panmeng An (潘孟安) to inquire Shih, “ The ECFA (cross-strait economic agreement) will enforce the early harvest list in January 1 next year. When do the Ministry of Economic Affairs to notify the WTO the English edition of the ECFA ?".
