     A male suspect named Huang wore suit to a shoe store in Taipei City’s Chengde Road to purchase shoes around July. While trying out the shoes, Huang attepted to sexually abuse a female sale associate with a knife. After the police examined the area, Huang was arrested. The police noticed that, during the process of the crime, which included the commiting of the crime, the capture, the investigation, and the arrest, Huang always suffers from diarrhea whenever he gets nervous, so they sarcastically called him the “Thief of Diarrhea.”

     Huang walked into the shoe store with a suit, planning to shoplift while pretending to be buying shoes. During that time, the store only had one female sales associate working. When Huang was choosing the shoes, he became nervous and started feeling the need to go to the washroom. Thus, he borrowed the washroom from the sales, who was not suspecting anything at that time. Unfortunately, Huang cut his finger when he was flashing the toilet. So he called the sales for help.

     The sales went to the washroom and helped Huang to wrap his cut. Huang locked the washroom’s door, took out the knife that was hidden in his body, and threateded the sales to take off her clothes in order to sexually abuse her. The sales resisted and fought against Huang, who dropped his knife during the fight. She picked the knife up and warned Huang, “If you dare to come any closer, I will stab you to death.” Huang threatened the sales to return the knife. Otherwise he would report the police of the sales trying to kill him. Huang realized that he had no chance of succeeding, he decided to leave and took away a pair of famous brand shoes, which worth 1600 New Taiwanese Dollars. The sales reported to the police after Huang left. Both of her hands and the small finger of her right hand had four stitches.

     The Police Investigation Team 3 of Taipei City checked about thirty cameras in the area and discovered that Huang had appeared in the neighbourhood then days before he committed the crime. The Investigation Team arrested Huang at Neihu District’s Huanshan Road in Taipei City and found the pair of shoes Huang took away. The suit that was worn during the crime was abandoned.

     One funny thing about this news is that when Huang saw the police, he became nervous again and had to go to the toilet. Huang had diarrhea again when the police brought him to the police station. He admitted stealing the shoes but denied sexually abusing the female sales associate. After the investigation, the police sent Huang to the district prosecutor’s office under robbery and unsuccessful sexual abuse. Huang had diarrhea again during this process.
